Gundo Actual has an ongoing 20+ year career in antiterrorism, protective operations, and firearms instruction. From overt military operations, to low profile protective security, to teaching on the range, he has used this variety of experience to design products to fit the needs of a variety of roles.
Gundo’s logo is the mountain. This references Gundo’s PNW roots and love for mountains, but also the never-ending journey to the peak of mastery.
The meaning behind the name is simple:
Gun: self-explanatory.
Do: The Way. Specifically, a martial way, referring to a martial art.
GUNDO means the Way of the Gun. For thousands of years man has used weapons as a means of self defense and warfare. Each being honed into its own martial art form. Gundo is the modern application of firearms as a fighting style.
Gundo’s mission is to meet the needs of shooters. Whether carrying a gun is your profession or for personal responsibility, we strive to make the holsters and carriers you need. And to do it at a reasonable price, in a reasonable lead time. No gimmicks, just gear that works. For shooters, by shooters.
